Matt Buchanan
Matt Buchanan was raised in Santa Rosa, California and graduated from Colorado State University in 1997. He currently owns Black Diamond Medical in Denver, Colorado. He is married to his college sweetheart Kristen Buchanan and has two children, Luke and Ashley.
Matt’s interest in The Standard rises from his interest in creating a stronger community and world for his children to experience. He is interested most in causes that benefit the least fortunate in our world.
Robert Gerbig
R. Braden Gerbig was born and raised in
Rick Haussler
Dr. Rick Haussler is a native of Lakewood, CO and graduated from Colorado State University in 1994. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic and currently owns Denver West Chiropractic in Golden. He is married to his wonderful wife Cami, and loves spending time with their three energetic, and beautiful children Rylie, Connor and Laney. Dr. Haussler’s interest is to raise awareness in our community for those in need and financially support charities that positively impact the future of our community. He and his wife are also actively fostering children in the Jefferson County area.
Jack Jacobs
Jack Jacobs was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam in the Mariana Islands. He attended Colorado State University and the University of Maryland. Jack is currently an insurance agent with AAA insurance in Las Vegas, NV. He is the proud father of two daughters, Sofia and Isabella.
Jack is actively involved with the Las Vegas community through his employment with AAA. He enjoys volunteering his time to help others. His interest in “The Standard” stems from his desire to help those don’t have the ability to help themselves.
Tim Scaturro
Tim Scaturro is a native of Lakewood, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University in 1996. After college he went to work as an independent Financial Advisor, and he currently owns a financial services agency, Premier Financial Benefits, LLC in Lakewood. Married to his college sweetheart Tamra, he enjoys the company of his four children.
Tim is interested building The Standard into a fund-raising organization that will make a difference in the lives of others. He is especially interested in working with charities that positively influence children, and those that benefit the disabled. He feels his skills in money and financial management are a positive contribution he can bring “The Standard”.
Tom Schachet
Tom Schachet is a native of Colorado that graduated from Colorado State University in 1997, and is currently a physical education and outdoor living teacher at Blevins Junior High School http://www.psdschools.org/schools/blevins/. Tom is also the Head Football coach for the Blevins Bruins football team. He is married to Laura his wife of 9 years, and father to Grant Elway Schachet and Cameron Jean Schachet.
Toms’ interest in “The Standard” stems from the loss of his mother Nata Jean Schachet to cancer in 1996. Causes that are important to him involve raising funds to help youths with cancer as well as raising money for youth athletic programs.
Eric Smith
Dr. Eric A. Smith DC was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State University, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, and he currently operates Smith Chiropractic Center in Denver. Eric and his wife Karrie are busy enjoying family life with their two wonderful kids Madison and Dillon.
Dr. Smith’s interest in “The Standard”, rests in his desire to keep the community safe for his and all kids. Being a native of the Denver area, he has a strong interest in helping organizations that benefit children, like Denver PAL’s.
Travis Williams
Travis Williams was born in Texas and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Upon graduating from Colorado State University in 1996 he went to work with Depuy spine working in orthopedic sales. Travis currently owns Quantam Medical in Phoenix, Arizona independently representing Depuy Spine and is married to his best friend and business associate Anika. Travis has one daughter, Tierney.
Travis involvement in “The Standard”, stems from his mother’s recent battle with breast cancer. He is concerned with supporting organizations that benefit cancer victims and their families.
Chris Wolff
Chris Wolff is a native of Northern California and currently lives in Petaluma with his wife Amy and three daughters; Abby, Rebecca and Lauren. A graduate of Colorado State University, Chris works in the medical device industry with a focus on Cardiovascular Surgery.
His general Interest in The Standard is to create awareness for the many wonderful charitable fundraising opportunities that need our support.
